Mapping H: Drive for Mac

This documentation will allow you to connect to your H: drive over a VPN connection.

VPN Connection

You must complete the Cisco VPN Setup and connect to the HVCC VPN before continuing.

Connect To Your H: Drive

1. Open the Finder app.
    
2. In the top menu bar, select Go and then select Connect to server.
    
3. In the top text field enter the following path, substituting username with your college username.
   • smb://hvcc.edu/homes/username
      
4. Select the plus (+) icon in the lower left corner to add as a favorite.
    
5. Select Connect.
   
   
    
6. Select Continue on the You are attempting to connect to the server "hvcc.edu" window.
   
   
    
7. Enter your college username and password then select Connect.
   
   
8. Once successfully connected, a new Finder window will open and display the contents of your H: drive.
