This will install a Virtual Private Network (VPN) connection to the college campus which will allow to you access protected resources, such as secured products and network shares.
You must have Duo MFA setup on your college account before proceeding. Visit Duo MFA Alternate Login Instructions if needed.
Download & Install
Open your browser and navigate to https://vpn.hvcc.edu.
Login to the Anyconnect group with your email address and password.
You will receive a Duo push notification. If you do not have push notifications setup, please following the Duo MFA Alternate Login Instructions, then return here.
Once you have logged in, you will see a link to download the software for your platform. Select the button to download the software.
Once downloaded, install the software package. Note that there are also instructions on the page for how to step through the install. Step through the install, accepting the license agreement, and complete the installation.
Additional Setup for Mac OS
You will have to allow the Cisco AnyConnect Socket Filter extension in Security & Privacy.
You will also need to Allow the socket filter to properly route traffic between the college and the Internet.
