Accessing a Student’s Schedule Planner in WIReD as an Advisor

Introduction

This article explains how advisors and faculty can access a student’s Schedule Planner through WIReD. It walks you through logging in, locating the student via the Advisor & Faculty Dashboard, and opening their Schedule Planner. Use this guide whenever you need to view or assist with a student’s course schedule.

Accessing a Student's Schedule Planner

  1. Visit www.hvcc.edu/wired in a web browser.
  2. Select Continue to WIReD Homepage.

  3. Select Advisor & Faculty Dashboard.

  4. Under Advising Resources, select Student Search.

  5. Enter the Term  and the student's ID number.
  6. Select Submit to open the student's profile.

  7. Once the student profile opens, locate the menu on the left-hand side and select Schedule Planner to view or manage the student's schedule.
    Important Note: You must return to the WIReD Advisee menu each time you want to access a different student. The student mirroring process must be restarted for every new student session.
