Brightspace Pulse App

Brightspace's app, called Pulse, is available on Google and Apple devices. There are some visual differences between looking at Brightspace on a computer versus in the Pulse app, but it's still easy to use, and navigate and is accessible to anyone with disabilities. You still will need access to a reliable computer and Internet connection that meets certain minimum requirements to complete coursework on the Brightspace LMS.

Instructions

Download the Brightspace Pulse app and log into your account using the instructions below. Once logged into your account, you will have access to notifications and all courses inside Brightspace.

  1. Select “Next” to "Never miss a deadline, "Take it with you," and "Stay up-to-date".
  2. Select “Get Started” to keep a pulse on what is new in all your classes.
  3. In the search option, type Hudson Valley Community College and select the corresponding URL for HVCC.
  4. Select “Network Login” to log in to Brightspace.
  5. In the drop-down list, select “Hudson Valley.”
  6. Select the "Log In" button.
  7. Type in your HVCC Username/Password. You may also be prompted for HVCC multi-factor authentication.
